If you're already posting real estate listings on Instagram, you know how much time it takes to manage multiple platforms. MakaziMapya lets you link your Instagram Business account so that your property posts appear on makazimapya.com automatically — no double-posting required. And the best part? It's completely free.
This guide walks you through every step.
Before You Begin
Make sure you have:
- An Instagram Business account (not a personal account)
- Your property posts already published on Instagram
Step 1: Create Your MakaziMapya Account
Visit makazimapya.com/sign-in.
You have several sign-in options. For the fastest setup, click "Continue with Instagram" — this creates your seller account, links Instagram, and starts importing your posts all in one step. You can skip straight to Step 3.
If you prefer, sign in with Google, Email, or WhatsApp first and link Instagram separately in the next step.
Note: The Instagram option is specifically for sellers with Instagram Business accounts. Personal accounts are not supported.
Step 2: Link Your Instagram Account (if you didn't sign in with Instagram)
Navigate to your Business Profile:
- Click your profile icon in the top navigation bar and select "My Business Profile"
- Scroll down to the "Linked Instagram Account" section
- Click the blue "Link Instagram Account" button
- You'll be redirected to Instagram to grant permissions — accept all permission requests
- You'll be redirected back to MakaziMapya once complete
Important: If you see "Can't access your Instagram. Check you have a business account and granted all permissions", confirm your account is set to Business type and try again, accepting all permissions.
Step 3: Your Posts Will Be Imported Shortly
Once Instagram is linked, MakaziMapya will automatically begin importing your existing posts. It may take a few hours for all your listings to appear — just sit back and wait.
New posts you publish on Instagram going forward will also be picked up automatically.
Bonus: Two-Way Sync
The integration works both ways. When you create a new listing directly on MakaziMapya, it can also be shared to your Instagram page too.
Managing Your Instagram Connection
From your Business Profile page you can at any time:
