MAIZE FLOUR MILLING FACTORY FOR SALE IN TANGA TANZANIA
The entire property covers 10 acres.
Only 2 acres have been developed, leaving 8 acres available.
The factory has a production capacity of 180 metric tons of wheat per day.
It was established in 2000–2001 and was upgraded in 2017–2018.
The factory is currently not operational.
The milling plant was manufactured by Golfetto, Italy.
The machinery is in good condition. However, before resuming operations, it requires servicing and minor repairs.
The facility has 4 silos, each with a storage capacity of 2,500 metric tons of wheat, giving a total storage capacity of 10,000 metric tons.
The necessary licenses and permits are available, but they have expired. They can be renewed upon payment of the required renewal fees.
The land is freehold/owned. However, in Tanzania, an annual government land rent is payable, which is approximately TZS 8 million per year.
Production levels depend on market demand, while profitability depends on pricing, market conditions, and business management.
The reason the factory is not operating is unknown to me
